    • 1). Locate two studs. Simply move the stud finder along the intended mounting wall at eye level for viewing.

    • 2). Drill four holes ---one at each corner of the wall bracket. Use a 3/16-inch drill bit.

    • 3). Insert and secure the four included lag bolts with the socket wrench. Place the bolts through the four corner holes on the wall mount, and drive them clockwise.

    • 4). Find the TV's mounting inserts on the back. Small plastic caps sometimes obscure them, but they are removable with a small flat head screwdriver.

    • 5). Line up the TV bracket with the mounting holes on the set. Place the Allen or Phillips screws (included with the mount) through the holes on the bracket, and into the inserts. Secure them clockwise with the correct screwdriver.

    • 6). Have an assistant help with lifting the 60-inch plasma onto the mount. Bring the set straight up, angle at nearly 30 degrees and engage the hooks on the TV bracket with the mounting bar on the wall mount. Bring the set carefully back to a vertical alignment, letting the weight rest on the mount's hooks.

    • 7). Secure any set screws on the mount, designed to prevent horizontal shifting.

    • 8). Place a level atop the set, then move its sides up and down until the set is perfectly horizontal. To secure the position, tighten the leveling screw on the upper middle portion of the wall mount, typically with an Allen-type screwdriver or key.
