Beef Enchiladas - Spicy and Delicious

Beef enchilada is one great dish that originated in Mexico.
Before, Mexicans ate tortillas or flat corn bread that is rolled around a small fish, as was recorded in the history books.
In its modern definition, though, enchiladas came from the Spanish word enchilar, which meant, "to add chili pepper to".
Thus, you should definitely expect that your enchiladas are something spicy and truly enjoyable.
Beef enchiladas are quite easy to prepare.
You just have to have the basic ingredients that are needed to make this delectable dish, preferably the same with that of its original enchiladas recipe.
The first thing you have to get is your flour tortillas.
Since you will be making your homemade beef enchiladas, you do not have to put too much effort in getting the corn bread that is the same with those of the Mexicans.
Preparing them for store selling may require you to add a little Mexican touch though so that more customers would be enticed to try the beef enchiladas.
Next, you will have to dip your flour tortillas into an enchilada sauce.
You have the option to make your homemade sauce but, of course, if you have time constraints, you can always buy a can of the sauce for your beef enchiladas at your local grocer.
When you dip them, make sure that your tortillas are well covered by the sauce on both sides.
Once you have done this, you are ready to do the main part of making enchiladas.
You have to fill one side of the flour tortilla with browned hamburger or shredded beef as well as refried beans and onions.
Do not put in too much though because you will still have to roll the tortillas.
If you have to, use a toothpick to make sure your rolled beef enchiladas do not open up.
When you have done many of these rolled beef enchiladas, you can already place them in a pan and they are all ready for baking.
Before you put them in the oven though, be sure to cover the beef enchiladas with shredded cheese to add more flavor to it.
Also, pour in the remaining enchilada sauce into the pan.
Now, you can bake your enchiladas for 45 minutes at around 350 degrees.
If the sauce is already bubbly and the cheese melted thoroughly, you can already take out your beef enchiladas from the oven.
You also have the choice to top your enchiladas with sour cream and olives although that choice is just up to you.
Aside from beef, you can also make enchiladas out of other types of meat or seafood and then mix them together with beans, potatoes and other vegetables - the decision is still entirely up to you.
Now, you can have the chance to enjoy your very own beef enchiladas at the comforts of your own home.
You do not need to travel down south, if you live in the northern areas, or go to Mexico just to enjoy this great dish.
