Places to Get Married in Orlando
- The most magical place on earth is a wonderful place to get married. The Disney staff has planned thousands of weddings, and they'll help to make your day special, too. Music from Disney movies will accompany you as you walk down the aisle in the wedding chapel by the lake; you can even have Disney characters at the wedding if you wish. The sky's the limit with Disney weddings if you can afford the steep price tag. Weddings can run from $12,000 to $65,000 for the couture collection.
- Gaylord Palms is a hotel right off Interstate 4, the highway that runs through Orlando. Prices start at $2,500 and go up from there, depending on the number of guests and amenities. You can "kill multiple birds with one stone" by having the rehearsal dinner, wedding and reception at the hotel, and your out-of-town guests can stay there. The hotel's chefs can cater the reception with a three- or four-course meal. The property has a spa and recreation park for the adults and an amazing pool and water play area for children.
- Leu Gardens is an oasis in the middle of downtown Orlando that can host weddings with up to 180 guests. It has four areas in which you can hold your wedding: the rose garden, the front lawn of the Museum House, the floral clock and the landing, which is like a patio. If it rains, there's a room indoors that can serve as Plan B. A wedding in the garden is especially economical because it requires little decoration due to the vast array of natural flowers and greenery.
- Just north of Orlando off I-4 is Winter Park, a bedroom community with an historic district that includes the Winter Park Wedding Chapel. A block away is Central Park and a rose garden, which are perfect for taking wedding photos. This chapel is on the small side, so your wedding party and guest list must be limited. If you have a larger wedding, the chapel has a sister church, Winter Park Church, that seats 150.
