How to Make a Wood Model Horse Barn
- 1). Cut a square of plywood to about 2-by-2 feet, using a hand saw to make the cuts. Sand down the entire piece to remove rough edges and splinters.
- 2). Lay a series of Popsicle sticks on a table vertically, making each stick about 2 inches apart. Lay down enough sticks so that they stretch about 2 feet wide. Glue Popsicle sticks horizontally down the center of the vertical sticks, making a fence panel.
- 3). Repeat Step 2 three times, so you have four fence panels made of Popsicle sticks.
- 4). Glue each fence panel to the edges of the plywood board, so the panels stick up and look like a fence around the square of wood.
- 5). Place the toy barn on a sheet of newspaper and spray paint it in a color you like, or in brown to make it look like a real barn. Let dry and then place toy horses inside the toy stable.
