How to Use a Shark Super Steamer Cleaner
- 1). Press a nozzle into the steamer cleaner. Press an attachment into the nozzle by lining up the pins in the attachment with the notches in the nozzle. Rotate the attachment to lock it in place. Attach the squeegee to the steamer attachment by lining up the two hinges on the squeegee with the open tabs on the back of the steamer and pressing them together. Use the brush to scrub away tough dirt stains, the concentrator to loosen tough buildup, the cloth to remove stains from wood floors or upholstery, the squeegee to remove buildup from windows and glass.
- 2). Turn the safety cap counterclockwise until you remove it.
- 3). Fill the tank with clear, hot water using the funnel. Replace the cap and tighten it fully. The funnel comes with the steamer cleaner.
- 4). Plug the steamer in and let it heat for five to six minutes.
- 5). Depress the trigger to release the steam. If you are using the concentrator nozzle or the steam diffuser, hold the machine 2 inches above the surface. If you are using the upholstery cloth, brush or squeegee attachments, hold the steamer directly on the surface you are cleaning.
- 6). Disconnect the steamer from the wall socket when the machine runs out of water.
- 7). Depress the trigger to release built-up pressure. Let the steamer sit for five minutes.
- 8). Unscrew the safety cap slowly to gradually let out any pressure. You may hear a hissing noise. Let the machine cool completely if it is still hot.
- 9). Refill the tank using the funnel. Close the safety cap and plug the machine back into the wall. Let it heat up and continue steam cleaning as before. Repeat the process as often as needed until the area is clean.
