Valentine's Day only comes once a year, so you want to make it right, and you also want it to be stamped in your date's heart for the rest of their life.
It depends on where you are in your relationship.
If you are married, living together, or dating you will want to make the personal changes that fits your needs.
  1. Get their favorite foods
  2. Have their favorite flowers either delivered, or there
  3. Set the mood just right (music, candles, etc)
  4. Write a romantic love letter
  5. Decorate up the bedroom, living room, or where you will be
First, if you live together, politely ask that you have 2 hours alone, before your date together in the place you live.
Let them understand, your not going out- out, so they know they do not have to worry about, getting dressed up at home.
You want to make them aware early that morning, or a couple days in advance, so they can make plans.
Once you have the place to yourself, start by decorating.
Get some heart shaped items, be creative.
You can buy pre-made items at a near by store if you wish.
This would depend on your budget just where you are able to go with this.
Get some roses, or a box of fake rose petals, and sprinkle them on the bed, floors, or a trail from the living area to the bedroom.
Set up some candles all around the bed room, and/or living room, to light later.
Where the date will end, leave a large heart made from rose petals, in the middle is where you will leave your romantic love letter.
Spend about an hour on this letter.
If you have to, write it a day early if you need the extra time.
Write it on nice paper, date it, you could glue a picture on it, or a rose petal if you want.
Make it original.
Describe the way this person made you feel the first time you laid eyes on them.
Say I love you in the most romantic way possible.
Your objective is, to make their heart melt, as they read this.
It should be about a page long, and add a little bit of humor too.
Say something in the middle of it, to make them laugh, or think back of when it took place.
End it very romantically.
During this night, after you eat your dinner, share a dance over romantic music.
If you do not have 'your song', make one at that moment.
This should result in a wonderful romantic Valentine night in.
