Souls Harbor - Writings On The Wall
About.com Rating
Souls Harbor formed when three of its members were in the military together. Upon their discharge they started touring and writing more songs and garnered a good amount of popularity in the Southeast. Their debut full-length is very melodic, but also has an edge.
The band should have a lot of crossover appeal between rock and metal. It has very catchy choruses and great hooks that fit in on rock radio.
It also has the thick guitars that metal fans can appreciate. The vocals are mainly melodic and range from earnest to angry. There are also a few aggressive screaming vocals throughout the CD. If you're a fan of groups like Sevendust you'll probably dig Souls Harbor.
