Mitt Romney and other Presidential hopefuls seem to find out a new strategy to take their campaigns to the next level.
Recently, Mitt Romney came up with an idea of official TV contest.
He asked his supporters to make a 30 to 60 second ad, and submit it.
A lucky winner will be picked up randomly for this.
To help his supporters, some 372 photos, 36 audio files, and 4 video clips were distributed during his campaign.
The winner will be announced on September 20, and the last date of submission is September 17.
"It is truly groundbreaking for amateur, grass-roots supporters to so directly assist in introducing their candidate to the American people," Romney's media adviser commented.
"This contest demonstrates Romney for President's commitment to using unique and democratizing online tools to engage voters and harness the extraordinary enthusiasm of its growing team of supporters.
" This ad contest is the hottest example of how the candidates are making use of Internet to come closer to their supporters.
Hilary Clinton did the same thing lately.
She asked her supporters to create 30-second videos with the help of her campaign song, and other campaign videos.
Similarly, Joseph R.
Biden asked his supporters to upload clips challenging his rivals on their preparations for Iraq when the US troops leave.
This shows that most of the candidates are trying their best to give a new direction to their campaigns.
To be eligible for Mitt Romney contest, you should be 18 years or above, and a US citizen.
People involved in the campaign cannot take part in this.
According to the contest pitch posted on Romney's website, "Your ad can feature Mitt's biography, his family, his record as Governor, or his agenda for a stronger America.
In fact, your ad can have practically any theme you choose as long as you support the campaign creatively and responsibly.
" The winner will not get any money.
He or she will only get the fame for working in Romney's presidential campaign.
