How to Load Firmware on a Linksys WRT350N
- 1). Access linksys.com (see "Resources") and it will redirect you to the Cisco website. Mouse over "support" and click on "Linksys" from the drop-down menu.
- 2). Type "WRT350N" in the "Start Here" search box and press, "Return" or "Enter" on your computer keyboard.
- 3). Click the hyperlink, "Downloads" in the support section to load the available downloads for the WRT350N router. Select "Version 1.0 from the drop-down menu.
- 4). Click on download and save the file to the desktop of your computer.
- 1). Access the router's GUI (Graphic User Interface) by opening a webpage and placing the router's IP address into the address field on the web page. Linksys default IP is 192.168.0.1.
- 2). Enter the default authentication credentials into the login box. The user name is, "admin." Leave the password field blank. Press "Return" or "Enter" on your keyboard to load GUI.
- 3). Click on the "Administration" hyperlink and then click on the "Firmware Upgrade" hyperlink.
- 4). Click on "Browse" and locate the file that you downloaded and stored on your desktop.
- 5). Click on the "Upgrade" hyperlink to upgrade the firmware. Once upgraded, the router reboots. When the lights come back on, the upgrade is completed.
