How to Stop iPhone Appointments From Disappearing
- 1). Sync your iPhone with iTunes. If you have been syncing your iPhone with MobileMe and have found appointments disappearing from your calendar, you might find this issue stops once you start syncing your phone with iTunes instead.
- 2). Turn your iPhone off then back on again. Once the phone has restarted, go to "Settings," then "Mail, Contacts and Calendars" and select your MobileMe account from the list. Change the syncing slider to "Off" then back to "On" again, and your appointments should reappear in around 15 minutes.
- 3). Update your iTunes software and your iPhone's iOS. Each new version of iTunes and iOS includes fixes for bugs that might have affected previous versions of the software, so the more up-to-date your software is, the less likely you are to have problems with syncing.
- 4). Download the latest support packs from Microsoft if you have trouble syncing your appointments from Microsoft Exchange. SP1 could help resolve any issues with syncing between your iPhone calendar and any calendars you have on your Exchange account. You can download the support packs from the Microsoft website.
- 5). Talk to an Apple advisor. If you have tried the above steps and the problem persists, this could signify an issue with your iPhone. Take the handset to an Apple retailer, and ask about the possibility of getting a replacement.
