Comments from developer: When starting this website for a colour therapist little did I know difficult the challenge was, not least because the owner, by her own admission, was 'not very computer literate' but wanted a website that had 'everything'! The site evolved from a fairly complex owner-managed shopping cart and CMS (using the excellent Cubecart) to also include 3rd party blog and forum systems plus an interactive mini-colour reading.
All the comments from her trainees, customers and patients have been very posi
Comments from Jennifer Kyrnin: I like this site design a lot. The site title was very evocative to me, but I was afraid the designer would decide to use thousands of colors. While there are a lot of colors on this page, they are all the same level, so they don't clash or overwhelm. It's just very friendly. The HTML is nice too, with CSS for layout and good use of appropriate tags (like lists for lists, and so on). My only question is why does there need to be a div tag inside of the list element? And I wonder about the use of classes for the navigation - they appear to be more like IDs than classes. But that's minor. The end result is that this is a page I'd like to keep exploring.
