Greenhouse Effect

• The natural greenhouse effect is necessary for sustaining life on the planet but when this natural greenhouse effect is exaggerated by the release of poisonous gases due to human activity, global warming occurs. Besides shifting to alternative energy and controlling the use of fossil fuels, it is necessary to provide Earth with a green cover of trees as trees utilize carbon dioxide and release oxygen in the atmosphere by means of the natural process of photosynthesis. In simple words, aforestation--the planting of trees and establishing forests--should be promoted and the cutting of trees should be stopped.
