    Connect Camera in Vista

    • 1). Connect the camera to the USB port on the computer using the USB cable, and press the power button on the camera.

    • 2). Click "Import Using Windows" in the "AutoPlay" dialog box, which will copy pictures from the camera to the hard drive.

    • 3). Double-click a picture to view it on the computer screen in Windows Photo Gallery. Use functions in the application to edit and email pictures.

    Insert Memory Card in Vista

    • 1). Turn off the digital camera. Remove the memory card from the slot.

    • 2). Insert the memory card into the computer's memory card reader.

    • 3). Click "Import Pictures Using Windows" in the "AutoPlay" dialog box. Wait while the operating system finds pictures on the memory card and stores the files on the hard drive.

    • 4). Double-click on the picture file to open it in the Windows Photo Gallery.
