How to Copy WMA to an iPod
- 1). Connect the iPod to your computer with a USB cable. Open iTunes. Click "Music" under the "Library" heading on the left side of the screen, if it is not already highlighted.
- 2). Click "Add File to Library" under the "File" menu. Navigate to the folder containing your WMA music files. Click on the first song you want to add. Control-click to select additional songs. Click "Open." Click "Convert" when you receive a message saying iTunes will convert your WMA songs to MP3 or another format. Repeat these steps to add more WMA songs if desired.
- 3). Click "Date Added" in the iTunes screen to sort songs by date, if not already sorted by date. Locate the songs you just added at the top of the list. Click the first song you want to copy. Control-click to select additional songs.
- 4). Drag the selected songs to the iPod listed under "Devices" in the left side of the iTunes screen. Remove the USB cable when all songs have been copied to the iPod.
