    • 1). Start at the wider part of the scales and wipe the surface debris off the snakeskin with a microfiber cloth. Wipe with the grain toward the narrow part of the scales.

    • 2). Remove dirt trapped between the scales by brushing gently with a clean, soft-bristled paintbrush. Refrain from lifting the scales as this could cause permanent damage.

    • 3). Saturate the tip of a clean cotton swab in rubbing alcohol. Wipe the stain off the snakeskin with the cotton swab. Wipe gently and with the grain for several seconds until the stain is no longer visible.

    • 4). Dampen a cotton cloth with lukewarm water. Wipe the surface of the snakeskin with the cloth to remove the rubbing alcohol residue.

    • 5). Dilute 1/2 cup of white vinegar with 1/2 cup of lukewarm water. Dip the corner of a microfiber cloth in the mixture and gently scrub any remaining, stubborn stains off the snakeskin. Use a damp cotton cloth to wipe the vinegar mixture off the snakeskin.

    • 6). Apply a conditioner designed specifically for snakeskin to a microfiber cloth. Rub the conditioner into the snakeskin in the direction of the grain using a circular motion.

    • 7). Buff the snakeskin dry with a clean, microfiber cloth.
