How to Remove Urine Stains From Linoleum Flooring
- 1). Soak up any wet urine with a sponge or old cloth.
- 2). Sweep the stained area to remove loose dirt and debris.
- 3). Fill a 1-gallon bucket with dish washing soap and warm water. Add 1 cup of vinegar to the soap water, and then scrub the urine stain with a bristle brush or cloth. If the stain remains, you will need to try an alternative cleaning method.
- 4). Combine equal parts of baking soda and water to create a paste. Cover the urine stain with the paste, and allow it to set for 15 minutes. Scrub the area with a sponge to remove the stain. If traces of the urine stain still exist, then try the next step.
- 5). Soak a cloth in rubbing alcohol. Scrub the stained area with the cloth. Rinse the cloth and continue to apply rubbing alcohol until the stain disappears.
- 6). Clean the previously stained area with a mop and dry with a soft washcloth.
