Best Starcraft II Zerg V Terran Strategy Guide
There are many things that you have to do and to look out for if you are a Terran and also as a Zerg, and there are some things that you are going to have to counter in order to try to beat the other race efficiently.
We are going to go over if you are in the terran perspective and zerg perspective as well.
If You Are a Zerg Playing Against a Terran There are many things that you are going to want to do in order to make sure you beat a Terran; of course there are an infinite amount of situations so we are not going to cover them all, but we are going to give you some insight on how you can succeed with Zerg vs.
Terrans now! You can always go for the quick build, but you have to scout your opponent and make sure they are not building a wall-in defense.
This can mean the end of your rush build.
One thing a lot of Zerg players love to do is to go for that early expansion quite quickly actually and help build their economy.
You want to build like a creep highway.
So make sure you are building your queens and getting those creep tumors.
You want to have those creep tumors going towards the expansion so that you can have some nice defense, remember your units are usually better on creep.
Another thing that you want to think about to is the fact that if you see your opponent is trying to expand, you can simply put creep on their area of expansion so that it will render them temporarily unable to expand.
If you see an MMM ball (marine, marauder, medivac), you can try to counter that with the zergling infestor combination.
Zerglings will become a little meat shield while infestors do fungal growth and this can definitely help you out in the end.
If You are a Terran vs.
a Zerg Player Of course this is just from the perspective of a Terran, you want to try to wall-off your base asap.
Your opponent may try to pull off a zergling rush at 6 supply, so you want to to try to counter that; you will also be protecting your economy against an early baneling bust.
This can absolutely decimate your economy and should be avoided at all costs.
You also want to consider trying to use ghosts to your nuclear advantage, and do things similar to that.
Remember that your reaper bunker rush will not work in this strategy (when you rush your opponent, build a bunker, and put a reaper in it to destroy the mineral line or command center), simply because you can not build these structures on creep, so be aware of that when your fighting on starcraft 2!
