1.
Use compelling headlines.
Draw your target readers in by using enticing titles for your blog posts.
Learn how you can target the emotional hot buttons of these people or how you can evoke them to take action.
Do everything to make sure that they'll open your content.
2.
Don't save the best for last.
Hook your readers by presenting the juiciest information on your first couple of sentences.
You see, these people will gauge the quality and value of your posts based on your first 100 words.
If these people did not see anything that is worth their while on this part, they will close your blog and move to the next one.
You don't want that to happen, do you? 3.
Make your content scannable.
Making your content readable is another way to get your audience to stay a little longer on your blog.
Ensure that you discuss each of your ideas using bullet lists or short paragraphs so your readers can easily digest them.
Then, use subheadings.
These are useful to your readers as subheadings will give them an idea as to what kind of information is included in the next paragraph.
They can just easily skip it if they want.
4.
Keep it simple.
Even if you're the best in your chosen niche, there is no reason to use highly technical terms or high fallutin words in your content.
Believe me, these words will not help you convince your visitors that you've got higher knowledge in your chosen subject.
In fact, this may just annoy them.
So, stick with simple terms all the time.
Make sure that your blog posts are simple enough that even a 10th grader will understand them.
