How to Use a Superautomatic Espresso Machine
- 1). Plug in and turn on the machine. It's easiest to keep the machine plugged in overnight to ensure it has enough time to heat the water internally in the morning.
- 2). Add the water. Depending on style and cost, some machines are hooked up to a water line, and some are not. If your machine is not, you must add water to the water tank.
- 3). Add the coffee beans to bean hopper, a container usually found at the top of the machine. The amount varies significantly for each machine, so check your machine's recommended level before brewing.
- 4). Rinse the espresso cup with the hot water spout. This heats up the cup so the espresso stays warm longer.
- 5). Select the brew you would like. Press the coinciding button to the brew you would like.
- 6). Empty the waste compartment. After every few uses, empty the waste compartment to keep everything in the machine clean and fresh.
