    • 1). Rinse the wound out with warm water to ensure no bacterial build-up has occurred.

    • 2). Press a clean cloth over the surface of your scab and apply light pressure.

    • 3). Hold the cloth in place until the bleeding stops. New blood will form a fresh scab over the wound.

    • 4). Apply a bandage over the scab to help prevent it from accidentally being knocked off or re-opened. Try your best to avoid picking at the scab.
