If you are seriously trying to get pregnant at any age, then you need to get yourselves an ovulation calendar to help you in your pursuit of having a baby. An ovulation calendar is so simple to use, and you can find instructions all over the web in order to get one of your own. All that you have to do is input the date of the first day of your last menstrual period, and it will tell you the day that you will be ovulating and in your most fertile time period. That would be the precise time that you would need to have intercourse to try and get pregnant. You should also plan on lovemaking the day before and the day after just to cover all possibilities. Usually, there is a window of about 72 hours to get pregnant and you want to have as many good chances as possible to be successful.

An ovulation calendar can work in reverse as well. What I mean by that is that if you were looking not to get pregnant, stay away from intercourse on those most fertile days. Although not a fool proof method, it is probably better than no method at all.
