As a new internet or affiliate marketer, I'm sure you know the benefits of niche marketing.
Niche marketing will allow you to dominate a market quickly due to less advertising competition.
It is easier for beginners to break into because of less competition.
You will find that it is easier to get a high page rank in the search engines which will create free search engine traffic.
All of these factors will contribute to the niche marketer generating income faster.
The niche market is a truly dynamic market, constantly changing and evolving with the current trends of the economy, fashion and generation fads, and high end tech gadgets and so on.
So you might ask, "How do I keep up with all of this, how do I find my niche?" Well the bad news is that finding a niche, while not a difficult process can be a very time consuming process.
In the internet marketing business, time is money.
The more time you can save in finding profitable niches equates to more time that can be spent in marketing and advertising.
To the new affiliate marketer or internet marketer, it may be in your best interest to actually take your time finding your niche.
Perform all the tasks that encompass finding a niche the manual way so that you get insight on how the process is supposed to work.
While this may become boring and tedious, this experience will help your business grow in the long run.
For those marketers that are ready to get serious about their business and are ready to maximize their time and efforts, it's time to automate the tasks that consume the most time.
Most niche marketers will agree that the process of finding a niche is the most time consuming task of successfully marketing in a new niche.
This is simply because it comprises of tedious redundant tasks that can become so mind numbing that your work efficiency drops dramatically.
Most successful marketers on the internet use some type of software to do all the niche research, generate keyword lists, find the most profitable and cost effective keywords, find the top competition in the niche, analyze what that competition is doing and how well their ads are performing, and many other tasks involving research.
Having a program that can take care of all these tasks, allows you to spend more time actually marketing the niche.
All software is not on the same level of quality and features they provide.
How much time you want to save will determine the feature set that your software will need to possess.
For example, a free keyword tool will allow you to automate the keyword generation or "brainstorming" phase, but in most cases you will still need to scrub this list to find the most cost effective keywords.
In contrast, you can buy a feature rich tool that can not only find the most profitable keywords for your niche, but it can even find a niche for you.
Additional features to look for are the ability to find competing advertisers in your niche and find out what they are doing.
Track Google AdWords current trends and historical trends is another powerful feature to look for.
So, when I look at ways to cut time researching my niche, the best way is to automate the tasks that consume the most time and maximize the time that you spend marketing niches.
Again, if you are new to the marketing scene, take some time to learn your new business and figure out how things work under the hood, then, when you get some experience under your belt and are ready to move to the next level, invest in software that will minimize the time that you spend performing redundant and tedious work.
