Hyderabad Latest Breaking News : It was proved that there is no unity among the state Congress leaders at the detailed level Congress party meets once again. Deputy CM Damodara Raja Narasiimha has indirectly criticised the one sided decisions of the Chief Minister at this venue. He is said that it is not enough just saying development and welfare as the slogans but they need to work united for Congress to win the coming elections. Damodara emotionally said that victory will not come by saying me, but need to say we. He said saying me indicates the ego and saying we indicates the humanity and affection.
The discussion has started in the political circles that these words are targeted over the Chief Minister by him. Also the Deputy CM going down from the stage while CM Kiran was speaking has also given strength to these discussions. The Congress party leaders at the venue along with the cadre were surprised by the Deputy CM going down from the stage while CM was giving his speech. There is been a strong rumour that CM Kiran is been keeping Deputy Cm away from some time now. Added was the behaviour of Deputy CM today to strengthen the opinions about the clashes in between these two.
Deputy Chief Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha and panchayat raj minister K. Jana Reddy who frequently criticise Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy for not consulting them on important matters, abstained from a crucial meeting of the state council for development of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. The state council meeting was held at the Secretariat on Tuesday to approve the proposals of SC, ST Sub Plan. The meeting was attended by 10 ministers and special chief secretaries, principle secretaries and secretaries of various departments.
Deputy Chief Minister Damodar headed a committee that the state government had constituted to prepare SC,ST Sub Plan Act. After the Act came into force, the Deputy CM Damodar was angry with the CM for not giving him importance in the SC, ST Sub Plan. Similarly, PR?minister Jana Reddy had also expressed displeasure at the CM for not consulting him on important issues. Recently, he became angry in the Secretariat over a Bangaru Talli scheme under the chairmanship of the CM. The Deputy Chief Minister on Tuesday morning attended a meeting at Gandhi Bhavan, in connection with late prime minister Rajiv Gandhi's death anniversary.
When asked about the absence of the ministers, social welfare minister Pitani Satyanarayana, who spoke to the media after the meet said they could not make it due to personal reasons. Deputy Chief Minister and Panchayat Raj Ministers were not attended. Further he said that the Deputy Chief Minister told the Chief Minister he will come late to the meeting, Incentive to SC, ST students. Mean while the state council meeting has approved SC sub plan proposals worth Rs 8,429.67 crore and ST sub plan worth Rs 5,503.08 crore for the year 2013-14. The Chief Minister has directed that a Group -1 officer should be appointed in each district to constantly monitor and complete the programmes right on schedule.
The meeting has decided to give Rs 150 per month to each SC,ST students from 5 class to 8 class as an incentive. According to sources heated arguments were took place between the senior IAS officers RJ Raymond Peter and Shyam Babu on the allocation of Municipal department. Raymond Peter raised objection on the allocation of funds sub head wise. The Shyam Babu clarified that the allocations were made by the finance department only and not by the Municipal Administration department.
