Abdominal Workouts
Effective abdominal workouts are the easiest way to obtain great abdomen muscles within the comfort of your own home.
These workouts are plentiful, with dozens of different exercises all promoting the same thing: Beautifully sculpted abs.
While there are numerous workouts for your abdominal muscles detailed all over the Internet, there are a select few that have been voted the top ten by the American Council on Exercise.
Within this article, I will greatly detail two of these exercises that will help you on your journey to obtaining wonderful abs.
The first of these abdominal workouts is called 'The Reverse Crunch'.
To do this exercise properly, please: 1) Lie down on the floor and place your arms parallel to your body next to you.
2) Bring your knees in towards your chest until they are bent at 90 degrees with your feet together.
3) Contract your abs in order to curl your hips off of the floor, reaching your legs up towards the ceiling.
4 4) Lower yourself and repeat that exercise for 12-16 more reps.
The second of the abdominal workouts is called the ´Full Vertical Crunch'.
To do the full vertical crunch: 1) Lie directly on your back and extend your legs vertically, straight up towards the ceiling.
2) Cup your hands lightly behind your head and contract your abs in order to lift your shoulder blades off of the floor.
3) At the same time, press your heels towards the ceiling, creating a 'U´ shape with your torso.
4) Lower yourself back down and repeat this exercise for 12-16 more reps.
