How to Create a Looping Movie in Flash
- 1). Double-click the icon on your desktop for Flash Professional 8.
- 2). Click "File" and from the drop-down list, select the "Import" option. Click the "Import to Menu" item and locate the FLV or SWF movie file that you want to loop. Click the "Open" button to continue.
- 3). Verify that the location of the video file is correct and then click the "Next" button.
- 4). Select an option for deployment and click the "Next" button.
- 5). Click "Skin" and from the drop-down menu select the "SteelExternalAll.swf" option. Click the "Next" button to continue. Click the "Finish" button to complete the import process.
- 6). Set the placement of the movie on the stage and click the arrow on the right side of the window to expand the options menu.
- 7). Go to the "Actions" section. Type in "on (complete) {this.autorewind = true; this.play ( ); }." Click the arrow on the left to collapse the options menu.
- 8). Click "File" and from the drop-down menu select the "Save As" option. Enter a name for your movie file and click the "Save" button.
- 9). Press the CTRL+ENTER keys on the keyboard to test the movie loop.
