AviSplit

• 1). Download and install the AviSplit freeware from Bobyte. Launch AviSplit (see Resources).
  
  
• 2). Click the "Split" tab at the bottom of the window. Click "Select" at the top of the window, and double-click the AVI file you want to break into pieces. Click the up and down arrows under "Split Into" to choose the number of video sections. Click "Start" to split the video.
  
  
• 3). Click the "Rejoin" tab at the bottom of the window. Click "Select," and shift-click files to add more than one at a time. Click "Start" to join the files into one AVI video.
  
  

Video Cutter Max

• 1). Download and install the AVI splitting freeware from Software Club. Launch the program.
  
  
• 2). Click "Load Video File." Locate the AVI video you want to split apart and double-click the file to load it in the program. Drag the video slider to the starting point of a clip you want to extract, and click "Start Selection." Drag the slider to the ending point and click "End Selection."
  
  
• 3). Click "Browse" in the "Output Folder" section of the software window. Choose the folder where you want to save your AVI clip, and click "OK." Click "Start" to create smaller files.
  
  

Agogo Video Joiner

• 1). Download and install the Agogo joiner from DVD MP4. Click the "Start" menu and "Agogo Video Joiner" to run the program.
  
  
• 2). Click the blue "Plus" sign in the vertical toolbar on the right side of the software control panel to add files. Shift-click multiple files to add them simultaneously and click "OK."
  
  
• 3). Click "To AVI" at the top of the screen. Click the "AVI Codec" menu and choose your media player from the drop-down list. Choose "WMV" for Windows Media Player or choose "DivX" or "XviD" for a DivX player. Click "Start" to join the files.
