About the image: I used Corel Painter 8 with a Wacom tablet. The painting was inspired from a trip to Zanzibar in March 2003. Painter allowed me to blend and work with colors to capture the feeling I felt that morning on the beach.

What graphics software do you use on a regular basis?
Photoshop, Corel Painter 8, Corel PhotoPAINT

Photoshop 5

What is your all-time favorite graphics program and why?
Photoshop is my primary graphic program. I have learned how to use it for all my graphic needs. For illustration I prefer Corel Painter.

How do you use graphics software in your day-to-day activities?
I use them for freelance work and for fine art.

What is your best graphics tip or piece of advice?
Learn all you can about the program. It will frustrate you at times, but learn from the tutorials. For new artists, learn the basic art or your results will be disapointing.
