Earlier during the 1970's, the standard cars used to come only with the radio pre-installed.
However, with the progress of time most of the cars that were launched in the market consisted of pre-installed compact disc player or the CD player.
Those CD players that were installed in the cars from the beginning were commonly known as stock CD player.
The players that used to come along with the cars were usually manufactured by the specific car companies, like Chrysler, Ford, Volkswagen and many others.
As time passed by, the CD players became more and more popular and plenty of options were offered to the auto mobile.
Thus the car owners began to avail a variety of options in regards to their cars music system.
This allowed the car purchasers to buy the music system separately and get them installed or they could even install it themselves with the help of the installation kits.
There were many benefits that the car owners were facilitated with as they were able to choose the audio system from the desired company and moreover they got the freedom to choose the size of the car speakers, amplifier and sub woofer according to their wish.
This renovation in the car music system allowed the owners to avail a unique listening experience.
However a CD player that the owner desires to get installed in his or her car can be quite expensive.
In the 1980's the manufacturer tried to find out ways to stop the increasing thefts that occurred mainly for the reason of the high priced music system.
Thus, equipment known as Benzi box was introduced in the market.
With the help of the Benzi box one can pull out the music system leaving the vehicle.
Then the owner can either lock it in a trunk inside the car or they can even carry it with them.
