CPR Testing
- The Red Cross offers CPR and first-aid classes geared toward community members, health care providers or students. The adult CPR class takes about 3 1/2 hours to complete.
- The CPR test is given as part of the class. It consists of a written multiple choice test and a demonstration of CPR skills. You will have the opportunity to practice the skills during class before being tested.
- CPR classes are offered at many locations including hospitals, fire stations and schools. Most CPR classes charge a small fee to cover the cost of materials and certification. You can contact your local Red Cross chapter to find a CPR class near you.
