Most Hated Exercise Is
Bloody burpees
Majority of people I know hate burpees.I do find them a bit of a drag doing them myself but I still wont stop doing them. We all know how effective they are and also help burn a heap of calories. There are a few types of burpees you can do, some include a plank, some can include a full push up and some include a chin up.
Let me go more into detail on why burpees are effective
1.Burpees work your whole body- unlike isolation exercises like bicep curls or tricep pushdowns, burpees work your whole body from your lower half of your body to the upper half of your body meaning your working all your muscles in your body which then burns more calories in less time.
2. Gaining strength. Doing burpees not only help you lose calories but also get you stronger. As your working all your muscles doing burpees your giving them strength to then become stronger in every day life.
3. They can be performed anywhere, Probably the best thing about this is that no equipment is required and all you need is your body as you can do these burpees anywhere you like. Parks, garages, bedrooms, hotels... you can do burpees wherever you like
4. You can add burpees to any work out- An example could be your doing sprints, add burpees before the sprint, another example could be a squat hold add burpess before the squat hold. So many variations the burpee can do to help progress the session into a more intense session.
As much of a struggle they can be, there such an important and helpful exercise to add to your training sessions. If your a burpee hater but know there good for you then the best way to tackle burpees is to give yourself little goals in doing them. Target a small amount like 5 burpees and then do an exercise after it so your not spending so much time doing burpees but instead mixing the burpees with other exercises so they don't feel so much like a drag. I find that this way it does help me a lot as my mind is already focussing on the exercise after the small amount of burpees that I have to do. If there are any other exercises your finding hard to perform or need some type of guidance then I'd be happy to help so feel free to contact me. Hope you all had a great weekend and hope the week ahead is a great one, stay safe
