    • 1). Log in to the Ubuntu system from your user account.

    • 2). Click "Applications" > "Accessories" > "Terminal."

    • 3). Type "sudo apt-get remove <application>" and press "Enter." Replace <application> with the name of the application you would like to remove. If you are unsure, you can list software names by typing "apt-get list" without quotes.

    • 4). Supply the super user password when prompted, then press "Enter." The package will be uninstalled.
