One Day Us

103 3
You and I yesterday like swine started a living together Casually playing, running and rolling in a corrupt bed of mud.
Birds sitting side by side conversing high up on a love nest And mindless of the world's interpretation and the perception Of an irresistible lust once meant to cover and control us.
Night and day, and counting every second of every hour, Kissing ourselves and in an everlasting embrace we stayed.
Excruciating pains pounding and paralyzing our bodies, Yet it never did matter to us the how, where or when.
You and I were just animals responding to one stimulus.
It's ironic how today we quickly run to seek separate destinies.
Muted with no words to say or added comments to pass down, And no motives whatsoever only old withered emotions.
We still walk today stumbling and lost in an interminable road Holding no memories and wanting no part of that forsaken place.
There, uneasy exhalations triggered an ominous uncertainty And quelled any attempts to wash that spot in our darkened hearts.
Then again, soap and water could never clean all that imbedded grime.
We were too devoted to our abstract future; yes, we were blind Analyzing and observing that which could have been a perfect love.
Today flashes of that long and imaginary story will erupt, and As we capture the rendition of our fallen bodies in a messy field, Our teary eyes will help wash the rivers free of the sediments And flooded emotions like jealousy and impeccable wickedness To bestow desires of once pious souls and keep us buried down below.
