So you are dealing with a failing marriage.
  You're paralyzed, you have no idea what you can do.
  Let me give you the harsh reality -- you can only do two things with a failing marriage -- 1.
  Get a divorce That's right, you end it.
  Take the easy way out, some might even say the coward's way out.
  Hey, you might not like hearing it but it's true.
  It's easy to say "hey, let's just get a divorce" but a lot harder to say "let's work at it".
  If you choose the path to divorce, be prepared for the financial and emotional consequences, don't say we didn't warn you.

  Try and save the marriage This is also not an easy way out, truthfully.
  You will need to be committed and put in a lot of effort.
  You're going to have to sit down together and talk things out, no matter how badly you both want to avoid it.
  You're going to have to identify what the issues are, then figure out what to do about each and every one of them.
  And you'll have to take action every day to get things sorted.
You're going to have to be honest and open, and not lay blame.
  You're going to have to forgive things that you've done to each other and more importantly you're going to have to forget.
If you have a failing marriage and you want to save it, you will have to do all that is outlined here and more.
  You don't have to do it by yourselves of course.
  You should, if you're willing to, see a counselor.
  At the very least, do your own research, find books or websites that can help you figure out what to do.
  Then do it.
