    Through a Computer

    • 1). Locate, download and save e-books to your computer. The Nook accepts e-books that are in the EPUB digital format, as well as books saved in the PDF format. Find e-books through Project Gutenberg, the Barnes & Noble website, Random House and other websites.

    • 2). Connect the Nook to your computer with the supplied microUSB cord. The Nook appears as a new drive on your desktop.

    • 3). Drag the e-book file from where you have it stored on your computer to the Nook drive. Double-click the drive to open it, and place the e-book inside the "Books" folder.

    • 4). Eject the Nook drive and disconnect the e-reader from your computer. The book you loaded shows up in your Nook Library.
