How to Load Books on the Nook
- 1). Locate, download and save e-books to your computer. The Nook accepts e-books that are in the EPUB digital format, as well as books saved in the PDF format. Find e-books through Project Gutenberg, the Barnes & Noble website, Random House and other websites.
- 2). Connect the Nook to your computer with the supplied microUSB cord. The Nook appears as a new drive on your desktop.
- 3). Drag the e-book file from where you have it stored on your computer to the Nook drive. Double-click the drive to open it, and place the e-book inside the "Books" folder.
- 4). Eject the Nook drive and disconnect the e-reader from your computer. The book you loaded shows up in your Nook Library.
- 1). Tap "Shop" from the Nook's quick navigation bar. Browse the Nook store for the book you want to load.
- 2). Tap on the cover of the book you are interested in loading to see more information. To buy the book, tap the button showing its price; the price is replaced with a button that says "Confirm." Tap on it to continue your purchase.
- 3). Enter your password, if prompted, and tap "OK." The book begins downloading, then appears in your Library.
