How to Sync an iPod to WMP
- 1). Download the plug-in of your choice that allows your iPod to sync with your WMP application. See the References section for suggestions. Click on the "Download" tab of the preferred application. This will prompt an "Opening" menu for the plug-in.
- 2). Press the "Save File" button and save the application onto your desktop. Once the application has saved, double click the new icon to install the plug-in. On the "Open File" menu, press "Run" to access the setup menu.
- 3). Click "Next," then choose a destination for the plug-in. Answer "Yes" or "Yes to All" to every respective question, then allow the plug-in to install. Restart the computer once the installation is complete.
- 4). Reboot the computer and start Windows Media Player. Plug your iPod cable and iPod into the computer's USB port and allow the computer to detect its presence. Once the iPod has finished connecting, it will automatically sync to WMP. Open the WMP window. You can now add new songs, create playlists, listen to music or delete old music on your iPod from the WMP application.
