How to Generate Perfect Ionic Colloidal Silver
Setup The additional resources you will need to properly generate colloidal silver in conjunction with the supplied items are as follows: • Distilled or reverse-osmosis treated water.
• A 10 - 30 ounce size glass jar with a secure plastic lid.
(Do not generate in plastic containers due to plastic/pcb leeching in the final product).
• A household cup warmer to heat the solution during the process for optimal convection currents and to minimize metallic silver from being deposited in the solution.
• A Total Dissolve Solids (TDS) Meter that reads liquid content in PPM.
(optional) • A pH Meter to test alkalinity and acidity of your solution.
(optional) • A timer/ or adjustable alarm clock (optional) • A thermometer (optional) Preparing to Generate Silver IMPORTANT: The number one most important aspect to grasp is the need to keep all interacting items, surfaces, and containers as least contaminated as possible, by using ONLY distilled water to rinse and clean: the silver rods before and after each process, all containers, the operators hands, as well as the surfaces that these items may come in contact with.
Do not handle any other organic or metallic materials other than distilled water, the silver rods, and equipment.
You may benefit from the use of protective/sterile plastic or latex gloves.
Once you have gathered the necessary and optional tools that you will use, there are a few preliminary steps in the process.
1.
Begin by placing your cup warmer in an easy to reach and stable location, you can connect it, and turn the warmer on to gather some heat on the surface.
2.
To accommodate the silver rods, its is best advised to drill two small holes within 1" to 1.
5" apart in the center of the jars lid.
An alternative to this is bending the silver wires over the cusp of the jar within that distance of each other.
3.
Place the unit near the jar, be sure that you have installed a fresh set of batteries for this purpose for best results.
4.
With the unit in the off position, insert the application electrodes into the Colloid input jack.
5.
Extend the electrodes with the included alligator clip extensions - by inserting the probes of the electrodes into the plugs of the clips.
6.
Next, fill your container as high as possible to reach the most contact possible with the surface area of the silver rods you will be using.
7.
Cover the jar with the prepared lid.
8.
Insert one silver rod at a time to its maximum depth into each hole in the lid, secure the position with either of the two clips.
Orientation is not significant, but it's a good practice to alternate the silver rods every so often to extend their usage before losing too much material for reusability.
9.
At this point, the unit can be turned and left on, if needed, the colloidal silver circuit can be tested by touching one of the silver rods to the other (they are safe to touch when the unit is active), in which the indicator lamp should begin glowing as confirmation.
(Do not do this for over 30 seconds, as the lamp gets very hot and could possibly burn out or melt the surrounding plastic socket holding it in the panel.
) 10.
The brightness of the bulb is related to the conductivity of the water.
It is not necessarily a problem if the bulb is very dim or even remains dark as long as the process itself is occurring.
11.
When finished, detach the alligator clips.
Clean the silver electrode wire after each use to remove dark oxide on the anode (the positive electrode in the configuration is determined by which rod is clipped with the red colored electrode probe).
Use a small piece of scouring pad to polish dried silver, then wipe with paper napkin to make ready for next use.
To create a standard 5 ppm silver solution can take anywhere between 5 minutes to an hour and a half, dependent on temperature conditions of the water and the stability (and sterility) of your setup.
Note: In my observation it seems the initial water volume has an effect on the amount of saturation that is allowed to occur within a certain time frame.
Smaller volumes of water will provide less space for a higher PPM solution and larger ones allow a greater PPM to be reached in a similar or shorter amount of time.
In summary you have the ability to generate a 19 PPM pure colloidal silver solution within the ideal pH range (~10.
0 pH) in 30 ounces of water within 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
Guidelines • To generate safe colloidal silver please make sure that you are using pure (.
9999 purity) silver rods (as provided).
Also contrary to some instruction, there is NO need to add any type of saline component such as salt or sea salt, this will cause the formation of silver compounds which are not safe to consume! • Particle size is effected by many factors, but to optimize the generation of the smallest possible particle size, the major influences to be aware of are: temperature, solution circulation during the process (both regulated by the use of a cup-warmer, and sterility, all of which are optimally attained when following the above processing outline.
• After completing a batch of colloidal silver, you may find visible particles of what has fallen off of the generating silver electrodes and is recommended to filter through a few non-chlorinated coffee filters for the most effective filtration before storage or use.
• Store your colloidal silver in dark, non-conductive containers, amber or cobalt glass is best.
Keep away from light as even room light will degrade colloids rapidly by turning solution gray or black.
Stir thoroughly or shake each time before using.
Keep cool, but do not refrigerate.
• The adult dose might be anywhere from a tablespoon to sixteen ounces a day or more.
It is possible that consuming large amounts over long periods may kill some friendly bacteria in the intestines.
If so, supplement your diet with yogurt or acidophilus or compensate for bacteria loss in an alternate way.
This can also be used in the garden since it can be used against bacterial, fungal and viral attack on plants.
Simply spray diluted water on the leaves and add to soil water.
