    • 1). Turn on your computer and hold down the "F8" key during the boot process. Once the Windows Boot Selection menu appears, choose "Start my computer in safe mode."

    • 2). Click the "Start" menu and choose "My Computer." Click "C:," then "Windows," and then "system32." Finally, click on the "drives" directory.

    • 3). Right-click on the file named "tcpip.sys." Select "copy." Paste the file into a safe location. This serves as a backup in case anything goes wrong during the editing process.

    • 4). Open your hex editor. Navigate to offset "4F322" hex, or "324386" decimal.

    • 5). Change the value "0a 00 00 00" to "00 00 0a 00."

    • 6). Close the hex editor and reboot your computer normally.
