How to Set a Website Link on a Desktop to Auto Logon

    • 1). Go to the website that you wish to create a desktop link for and log in. If you wish to auto logon in the future, click the box under your login information so the system will store it and remember you.

    • 2). After your user page is loaded, navigate to the exact page for which you wish to create a link. This is the page that will be automatically selected when you click on the shortcut on your desktop.

    • 3). Examine the address bar. At the top of your screen to the left of the website's address, there is a small icon. To create the link, you need to click on this icon, hold down the mouse button and drag the icon to your desktop. Dragging it down to your task bar will automatically reduce the window and take you to your desktop. Once on your desktop you can release the mouse button. You now have the desired link, or shortcut, on your desktop.
