Why is this? Many reasons have been cited, from having the lottery mentality to just not knowing where and how to start.
Action is one of the powerful buzz words towards making a success in any business.
Action though is verb which needs an adverb to make it meaningful.
I go means nothing, I go away is a little more meaningful.
I go to work says it all.
So what does this action really mean.
Most people when starting an internet business work extremely hard.
That is they take action but unfortunately all too often the action is just movement around a point with no significant movement forwards.
It is not that they have not got a goal, it is that they have no clear path towards that goal.
They end up exhausted and drop out confused and disappointed.
Some years ago all you had to do was set up a web site, have it indexed and you were on your way.
Not so today.
The industry is very much more sophisticated.
You cannot now dig a hole and find gold.
You now need tools and knowhow to get to that gold.
So what is the answer.
The money is there but how do we find it.
The sensible answer is to follow someone or a group of people who have already found it.
Nobody with any sense goes into the jungle without guides.
So where are the guides.
Fortunately the Internet Industry has developed enough for many of the more successful marketers to realize that training in the necessary skills is the best way to increase not only their own market but to enable the market as a whole to thrive.
It is not as yet though all roses.
A number of potential mentors still hark back to their onset and the months, sometimes years it took them to succeed and expect others to do the same.
They forget that they are collecting an income from their pupils and leave them with only half of a map.
They are more interested in selling than mentoring.
So finally how do you convert this action into a meaningful movement towards success and income.
First find a successful marketer to be your mentor.
Preferably find a mentor who works with a successful team as two heads are better than one.
Replicate their methods until you have the skills necessary to go it alone.
A good mentoring team will always have access to other brains and you will only gain from their experience.
Will it cost money? Probably yes but good tools and training always costs.
Following a good system though will enable you to make enough and a great deal more to enable you to pay for your knowledge.
The old timers paid for it in the time spent getting started.
