A Great Holiday Rental in Calahonda
Not for the price at least.
I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for.
There are reasons certain things are more expensive than others - they're better in quality.
When you pay for something - and the price is high - you expect to receive quality.
So when you pay for something modest in price and it turns out to be great quality, it's an exceptional find! And that's what I've found with a particular holiday rental in Calahonda, Spain.
Calahonda is a town in southern Spain in an area known as Costa del Sol (coast of the sun).
It's right off the Mediterranean Sea and north of Africa.
The holiday rental in Calahonda is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom penthouse apartment.
It's located in on the upper hills of the hilly Calahonda town which makes for exceptional views of the Mediterranean Sea (and you can see Africa on clear days!).
In addition to the bed and baths, there's a kitchen that comes equipped with a fridge, washing machine, dishwater and oven - basically all you need in a kitchen to enjoy your vacation.
The hotel also features a television with community satellite channels so you don't miss your favorite shows.
It gets hot in Costa del Sol and this holiday rental space knows that and has a couple solutions.
Firstly, the apartment is fully air-conditioned keeping it cool in relation to the outside temperatures.
Additionally the apartment boasts 2 pools that are set in tropical gardens - what a luxury! But, like any good vacationer, what good is it staying in your apartment all the time? No good at all.
Luckily the local restaurants of the town, as well as the bars, supermarkets, and shopping centers are all within a 5 to 10 minute walk from the apartment.
If the beach is what you're looking for then it'll take about 10 minutes to walk there.
There's almost no need for wheeled transportation unless the hills of Calahonda tire you out.
And they've been known to do that to people.
So, in that case car rentals are available to get around town.
However, I'd have to recommend the shuttle service that will shuttle you to the furthest part of town and back to the beach for a nominal price.
The apartment will cost about 225 pounds per week which translate to about 330 dollars per week.
That's cheaper than the price of most overnight hotel stays! When you are searching for a hotel or an apartment to stay at while on vacation, the idea that more expensive means better quality doesn't always apply.
A holiday rental in Calahonda for example is cheap, luxurious, and meets all the needs you could want while on a vacation.
I've always been a firm believer in that statement - expensive equals quality - but after reviewer this bargain you can get in Calahonda, I might have to change my train of thought.
