How to Get a Product Key for Microsoft Word
- 1). Click on the "Start" button from your desktop and then move your mouse over the "All Programs" option.
- 2). Move your mouse to the "Microsoft Office" option and click on the "Microsoft Word" application. The Word program will start.
- 3). Click on the "Microsoft Office" button from the top of the Word application and then click on the "Word Options" button at the bottom of the program.
- 4). Click on the "Resources" option and then click on the "Activate" option to the "Activate Microsoft Office" field.
- 5). Enter your product key into the appropriate field. The product key can be found on the sticker on the Microsoft Office installation CD, or from a confirmation email for an online purchase. Click on the "Next" button after entering the product key.
- 6). Locate the Support telephone number on the Product Activation Wizard if you can't read your product key or if you need to be given one. Call the number and make sure to have the confirmation email or installation CD with you before talking to a representative.
