How to Change the Wallpaper for Windows
- 1). Click the "Start" button and then select "Control Panel."
- 2). Select the "Personalization" option and then click "Desktop Background" near the bottom of the dialog box.
- 3). Change the "Picture Location" by clicking the down arrow for more options or click the "Browse" button to choose a different folder or file location. This is helpful when looking for a collection of photos on your computer hard drive.
- 4). Check the small box next to each picture you want to use as your desktop background. If you choose multiple images, then select the duration under the "Change picture every" option. You can also choose whether the pictures are displayed randomly or in the selected order.
- 5). Click the "Save changes" button when finished. Your new wallpaper should automatically load on the desktop screen.
