How to Convert PAL to NTSC for a TV

    • 1). Purchase a PAL-NTSC converter. Most mid-range converters will convert back and forth between either system, so if you're not sure which system your television picks up, you can buy one of the dual converters. See the References section for an example of a mid-range converter. When you purchase, choose either 110V or 220V power source, and which country you are ordering from (you will need the appropriate power cord adapter for your country).

    • 2). Plug the included connector cord from the "Input" (or possibly "Antennae") jack on the back of your television to the "Output" on the converter. Also, plug the power adapter into a floor jack or other power supply.

    • 3). Move the Input switch to PAL and the Output switch to NTSC on the converter if it is a dual converter. This will enable you to receive PAL TV signals and convert them for your NTSC TV.
