The Golden Rules For Marriage
If the Feng Shui of the house or apartment is unsuitable, even the best marriages can come under stress.
It is, therefore,a good idea to look at the Feng Shui of any newly rented or newly purchased home.
There are some standard guidelines that ensure that the marriage does not come under more stress than is already caused under normal circumstances.
Rule 1: never have large mirrors in te bedroom that either face you each time you get up,or are situated above you, reflecting you when you sleep.
Mirrors in the bedroom are very bad Feng Shui for relationships, since, in reflecting the couple, they suggest the intrusion of third parties coming between them, either encouraging them to be unfaithful or causing trouble between husband and wife.
If you need mirrors for dressing and makeup pusposes, locate them in a special dressing area or in the bathroom.
Rule 2:never have a fish pond or aquarium or anything to do with water located anywhere on the right-hand side of the main door (on the right, that is, as you look out of the door).
This is a taboo that Feng Shui masters stress many times over in the course of consultations.
They are unable to explain the origin of this tenet, but while having a fishpond near the front door can be extremely auspicious in some circumstances-bringing great wealth to the household when other compass directions are properly formulated-the fish pond must never be on the right-hand side, but on the left-hand side of the door.
If it is on the right-hand side it may bring success or wealth, but the husband will have a tendency to stray.
This happened to a pregnant friend of mine.
She installed a beautiful pond on the right-hand side of the front door, but it caused predictable heartbreak.
Happily, she told me about it in time.
I immediately forced her to cover up her pond, and her husband came to his senses soon after that.
