    • 1). Check the LED lights on both the source and sensor units. The source light is red, and the light on the sensor is green. Both lights should be on if the unit is working properly. If one of the lights is off or blinks three times, there is an error in the system that requires repair. Check the power to the unit, and make sure the source and the sensor are in alignment with each other.

    • 2). Press the button on the wall console to lift the garage door up and down. Pressing the button again as the door is in motion will cause the door to stop on the track. A third press will send the door in the opposite direction.

    • 3). Program each door remote manually. Press and release the "Learn" button on the main unit. The button is located on the Power Head near the Terminal Block. The learning light will blink twice per second in response. Press the remote button once, and the learning light will stay on if it registers. Press the remote button again, and the learning light will go out, meaning the remote is now in tune with the opener.

    • 4). If you need to reset the memory, hold down the "Learn" button 10 seconds. Each remote will then need to be reprogrammed.

    • 5). Operate the door via remote if you have Genie's Safe-T-Beam System installed. The remote works in the same fashion as the wall unit, with one click moving the door, and a second click pausing it if the door is already in motion.
