More and more of the scrapbook pages that I make are not about special events but rather they are about everyday moments. This everyday scrapbook page idea uses banners and scalloped borders as fun scrapbook page embellishments. If you want to match the banner or border to papers that you have on hand, then read Scrapbooking with Banners - How to Make a Simple Pennant Border. You can also make your own scalloped borders by creating a scalloped edge ruler.

The instructions can be found in the article Make Your Own Scallop Ruler Template.
