Sun Poison is very serious and should be addressed immediately. Signs and symptoms of sun poison are extreme skin redness, oozing blisters, itching, burning sensations and extreme pain. In addition, sun poison can cause fever and chills in some cases. I have had sun poison and once was enough for me. - 2). Sun poison will likely cause at least first to second degree burns, depending on the severity of the burn. Remember, this condition can be easily avoided. Swift treatment is necessary in severe cases. First, it is best to try ice packs and see a doctor immediately. The emergency room will treat sun poison cases.

In addition, there are some excellent prescription creams available to assist the patient in healing from this terrible burn. Pain may be used, but it is not likely a doctor will prescribe anything potent for sunburn pain. You should feel better and begin healing within a few days.
