    Birthday Decorations

    • 1). Stencil and paint brown card stock or piece of lumber to read "Welcome to 100 Acre Wood." Mount the board near the gate or front entrance, or a wooden stake on side along its back and pound it into the ground.

    • 2). Cut brown card stock to form a 6-inch-wide tree trunk. Glue the trunk sections on a wall to form a 4-foot-tall trunk. Cut green card stock into a large circle and paste above the trunk. Repeat the process of cutting and pasting the green circles on each other to form a fluffy tree. Make and paste several trees on the wall, along with cutouts of Winnie the Pooh and his friends to create a scene from 100 Acre Wood.

    • 3). Paste life-sized cutouts of Winnie the Pooh and his friends along the yard and inside space to liven up the area.

    • 4). Stencil Winnie the Pooh on yellow card stock and cut along its edges. Paint his shirt red and highlight features with a black marker so it resembles the friendly bear. Punch a hole through its top and extend thread through it. Hang the cutout from the ceiling, under window or door frames or from tree branches. Make several of these, along with those of Piglet and Eeyore and Tigger, other characters from the cartoon.

    • 5). Group different colored balloons or streamers to decorate dull spots. Use orange, yellow and red balloons to signify Winnie the Pooh, grey and pink for Eeyore, deep and light pink for Piglet, and orange and black for Tigger.

    • 6). Spread Winnie the Pooh tablecloth on the refreshment table and use theme-related napkins, paper plates and cups for added effect.

    Nursery Decorations

    • 1). Decorate the walls in Winnie the Pooh theme. Depending on personal preference, paste murals of Winnie the Pooh and his friends on the walls or paint trees to resemble "100 Acre Wood."

    • 2). Place Winnie the Pooh themed furniture in the room, including a crib or bed, chairs and cabinets. Alternatively, repaint and paste Winnie the Pooh stickers on ordinary furniture to customize it.

    • 3). Place Winnie the Pooh and his friends stuffed toys on shelves. Spread a Winnie the Pooh bedding set on the bed.

    • 4). Hang orange or yellow curtains, place orange lampshades and spread a yellow, orange or pink carpet or rug on the floor. Use Winnie the Pooh themed wall hangings to complement the theme.
