Especially because, the number of equipments used for crafting purposes is often high and each could require customized adjustments, in a matter of a few minutes. Lack of coordination can certainly impact the needed accuracy in the product. Coordination skills can be worked on by practicing and learning from mistakes.

    Education

    • During the various stages of tool making, a toolmaker is required to measure and calculate. Mathematical and computing skills are helpful. Likewise, to work on the tooling components, the engineering drawings must be studied. A tool maker with a mechanical bent must comprehend the designs. Interest in technical advancements and science subjects is an attribute.
