    • 1). Click on "Computer" in your Windows Start menu to launch Windows Explorer.

    • 2). Navigate through the folders on your hard to locate the file that contains the metadata you want to remove.

    • 3). Right-click on the file's icon and select "Properties."

    • 4). Select the "Details" tab. Click on "Remove Properties and Personal Information." Click on "Remove the following properties from this file" and then click on the checkbox next to each metadata entry you want to remove. If you want to remove all metadata from the file, click on "Select all." Finally, click "OK" to finish removing the selected metadata.
